Tailored Brands does more than style customers with the perfect look – they help people love the way they feel. For more than 100 years, the retailer’s well-known fashion brands, Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, Moores, and K&G Fashion Superstore, have provided quality, affordable designer styles in exactly the right fit. Every purchase, from suits to business casual, is custom-made for each shopper and occasion. 

Tailored Brands knows detailed personalization sets their brands apart and wanted to bring that customization into the entire shopper journey – from online browsing to final fitting. But siloed customer information and audience segments across each brands’ CRM made it difficult to create cohesive customer profiles, reach shoppers across online and offline channels, and optimize in-flight campaigns. 

Tailored Brands’s measurement strategy was also complex, with blind spots from walled gardens and social media, missing exposure data, and conversion gaps. The marketing team wanted to responsibly and accurately connect data from in-store and web experiences, reveal true performance, and tailor personalization everywhere customers spend time.

Although Tailored Brands already leveraged a CDP, the team needed an end-to-end solution that could connect data more accurately across more sources – like its CRMs, ecommerce, stores, and social platforms – to deliver personalized experiences and enable more precise media performance insights and optimization.

The Solution

The retailer set out to find a partner that could stitch customer data and insights together – no matter where the data lived – to power personalized media interactions, closed-loop measurement, and real business growth.

Stronger match rates, greater reach: Through the implementation of server-side events via Meta’s CAPI and improved data quality, Tailored Brands increased conversion signal visibility across platforms. LiveRamp’s identity and activation solutions helped extend these signals at scale, nearly doubling customer match rates on Google and expanding Meta campaign reach by almost 75%. 

Proven impact with real-time measurement and optimization: The marketing team is also seeing meaningful performance lift across its most important channels. Following the implementation of Meta’s CAPI via LiveRamp, Men’s Wearhouse delivered 26% higher ROAS on web and 41% more conversions with CAPI and pixel versus pixel alone. Purchase volume and incremental revenue, up 53%, quickly pulled ahead of media spend. JoS. A. Bank also saw strong gains, driving 17% more conversions and 42% more incremental revenue thanks to precise, accurate audience activation and attribution with CAPIs via LiveRamp’s CAPI Hub.
