Last week, the advertising industry came together in New York for Advertising Week 2026. Across AWNY and many other stages during the week, LiveRamp highlighted how data collaboration drives value for brands, publishers, and platforms , and how AI will continue to boost data collaboration’s performance.
Here are some of the biggest takeaways from this year’s Advertising Week New York.
AI and the future of connectivity
AI continues to emerge as a winning solution. It becomes even more foundational in the ecosystem’s toolkits. LiveRamp’s sessions at AWNY showed the ecosystem how to think about AI in the ever-changing landscape, and highlighted what practitioners need to know in order to stay ahead.
LiveRamp CEO Scott Howe took the stage for an exciting keynote on how marketers like you can get better at putting AI to work. His keynote illustrated that the biggest advantage isn’t just having the smartest technology, but using it to work across a complex ecosystem, leveraging data collaboration to unlock better data and customer signals.
Travis Clinger, Chief Connectivity & Ecosystem Officer and GM, International joined leaders from Index Exchange, OpenAI, and Paramount to discuss how to think about connectivity and reach audiences through channels such as AI and CTV.
From there, LiveRamp also brought to life the latest agentic partners and their use cases onstage at LiveRamp Agent Builders (LAB) AI Demo Day. Leaders from partners Akkio, Datalinx, Dstillery, Galatiq, Newton Research, and SemantIQ all shared real demos of how their agents are bringing more value to LiveRamp’s data collaboration network, helping LiveRamp’s customers to seamlessly leverage cutting-edge agents on live workflows.
Collaboration continues to drive gains
Data collaboration continues to offer powerful insights and performance for the ecosystem, regardless of where a company is on their AI journey. LiveRamp’s Frederick Stanichev convened some of LiveRamp’s key collaborators, including leaders from American Airlines, DoorDash, MGM Resorts, and Warner Bros. Discovery, to discuss how data collaboration is helping to unlock higher conversions, deeper customer engagement, and long-term loyalty. Using data collaboration, leading marketers can personalize every touchpoint to maximize both the customer’s experience, as well as customer lifetime value.
Innovation and the human touch
Across all of LiveRamp’s AI and data collaboration sessions for the week, the value of marketing leadership was on full display. SVP Product GTM, Daniella Harkins, helped to bring this to life in a fireside session with Unilever at Brand Innovators’ Marketing Leadership Summit New York 2026. In a dynamic and far-ranging conversation, Daniella explored the brand and leadership journey at Cooking Aids and Mini Meals at Unilever, and how innovative leadership has found a way to balance a challenger mindset and cutting-edge solutions with Unilever’s legacy scale.
Ultimately, the fireside underscored that behind every successful organization, no matter which solutions are being leveraged, innovative and purpose-driven leadership is the critical first step.
Putting AWNY learnings into action
Advertising Week 2026 continued to highlight that amidst tremendous change, bold innovation is the only constant. Whether companies are still in the early phases of building out their collaboration networks, or digging deeper to supercharge their AI outcomes with data collaboration, LiveRamp is committed to shaping this future and working with our network to power deeper insights and measurable performance.
