Today, I am happy to announce our acquisition of Pacific Data Partners— a company focused on revolutionizing business-to-business (B2B) marketing. This acquisition will help LiveRamp enable B2B marketing with people-based precision, solidifying our position as the leading provider of identity resolution capabilities that power people-based marketing.

Pieter De Temmerman and Grant Ries, co-founders of Pacific Data Partners and former Oracle and BlueKai veterans, will lead the efforts to accelerate LiveRamp’s B2B marketing solutions. Pieter and Grant have proven to be game-changers in the industry, and we’re excited to have them on board. Our vision continues to focus on improving the consumer experience through improving the relevancy of marketing, and I’m confident they’ll help us do this in the world of B2B marketing.

Worldwide, B2B marketing is a $160B market, but B2B marketers have historically lacked the ability to recognize the professionals they are targeting in digital channels. This has left B2B marketers unable to take advantage of the innovations identity resolution has driven in consumer marketing – until now.

LiveRamp has built an incredible consumer identity graph that will provide the foundation for our expansion into B2B—after all, professionals are also consumers.
