LiveRamp Introduces Enhancements to Privacy Manager

- Latest platform iteration includes built-in compliance with IAB Europe’s TCF v2.0, and delivers a GDPR-compliant infrastructure for brands and publishers
- LiveRamp’s solutions ensure a seamless online experience for customers in the face of a cookieless future, whilst strengthening data privacy
27 May, London: LiveRamp (NYSE: RAMP), the leading data connectivity platform that enables the safe and effective use of data, today announced an update to Privacy Manager, its global privacy preference and consent management platform (CMP). The latest version enables compatibility and compliance with the GDPR and IAB Europe’s Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) v2.0, adding greater flexibility, interoperability, and customisation. As a result, brands and publishers can ensure data and consent collection from customers remains GDPR compliant and secure, without sacrificing consumer experience online.
According to research by SAI global, there is a growing trust deficit amongst global consumers, driven by data privacy and traceability concerns, among other factors. As a result, individuals increasingly scrutinise the value exchange between brands or publishers they engage with. While global standards guiding and governing data transparency and consumer choice are helpful, more can be done to prioritise compliance while preserving the user experience. The enhanced Privacy Manager platform achieves this, restoring balance and contributing an ecosystem built on trust.
When LiveRamp customers combine Privacy Manager with its other solutions in the market, like the Authenticated Traffic Solution (ATS) and LiveRamp Safe Haven, they may see more meaningful returns such as increased addressability, improved campaign measurement, and new revenue opportunities.
Moreover, brands and publishers can employ compliant consent collection and data activation without sacrificing consumer experience or privacy.
Vihan Sharma, Managing Director, Europe said: “Consumers rightly care about privacy more than ever before, and it is our responsibility as an industry to ensure that we protect consumer data and uphold regulator direction. LiveRamp is committed to developing the tools to make it easier for brands and publishers to continue engaging with their customers in a compliant and secure way, especially as we progress toward a cookieless world.”
Hasan Nergiz, Director of OEM at carwow said: “The safety and privacy of customer data is a top priority for us and by using LiveRamp’s framework, we are secure in our knowledge that we remain GDPR and privacy compliant.
Providing data-driven insights is vital both for our company’s growth and to enable our partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Using LiveRamp Privacy Manager we can provide the car-buying consumer with privacy, choice and full control over how their data is used.”
Headquartered in San Francisco, LiveRamp is currently expanding its operations in the UK, identifying it as the fastest growing market in Europe.
