I have been having a great time working at LiveRamp. I first read about LiveRamp on AngelList almost a couple of years ago. I applied and interviewed for a position, but at the time I didn’t have the required work authorization to work in the states. A year later, when I started my studies at USC, I contacted Jeremy and Nicole about my interest in the intern position. They were super helpful and we kicked off the process from right where we had left it a year ago. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick and very positive reply from LiveRamp. It felt like an indicator of a healthy workplace that it is.
I have been involved in a few projects of the Offline Matching team. One of the great things about interning here is how the interns are encouraged to take ownership of their projects. We started off with some simpler tasks which introduced us to the system and gradually moved onto more challenging problems. And help is always close. All the team members and mentors are super helpful and patient.
Hackweeks are very interesting too. You can work on almost any hacky project that you think would be great for LR. It’s a fast-paced week and the end products are neat! Apart from work, there’s lots of other things always happening around. Outings are pretty frequent and always fun. You can always be sure something interesting would be planned at or around the office almost every week. And San Francisco has made it to my list of favorite cities.
