Welcome, Data Plus Math to the LiveRamp team!

In late June, we welcomed Data Plus Math to LiveRamp, to revolutionize the TV ecosystem. TV is evolving at an unprecedented rate, with advanced TV and changes in the way consumers view content. However, TV buying and measurement is woefully behind, stuck in a bygone era of set-top boxes. Data Plus Math focuses on cross-screen measurement for outcome-based TV buys.

Now, advertisers can better align cross-screen strategies, allocating TV budgets to reflect new outcome-based projections and then measure them. Programmers can also now prove the value of TV and video in driving business outcomes. Read more about what the addition of Data Plus Math to the LiveRamp team means for the TV ecosystem.

Are You Prepared For CCPA?

Last year, the California legislature passed the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). While the implications of CCPA are not yet completely clear, one thing’s for certain: the law goes into effect January 1, 2020, and companies have a short runway to prepare.

With news and updates on pending amendments happening frequently, it’s important to stay up-to-date, see how you will be affected, and what you need to do to prepare. Our CCPA Education Hub can help you prepare, with the latest news and updates, podcasts, interviews, and a CCPA readiness checklist

The Need For Open and Neutral Identity

At LiveRamp, we believe in the democratization of data and that an open, vibrant, and neutral ecosystem is healthy for the common good of both the industry and consumers alike. We’re committed to remaining a neutral player—one that is media-agnostic and uncommitted to any single flavor of identifier.

In a recent blog post, our CEO Scott Howe, discusses why it’s more crucial than ever that the advertising and technology industries join forces to maintain this neutral playing field for every platform, marketer, and publisher.

Third-Party Data For Social Media Campaigns

Data-driven marketers want to reach their target audience wherever they may browse—and that includes social media channels. But engaging with consumers on social media can feel like a shot in the dark when you don’t have a well-rounded picture of your target audience. First-party data alone can’t offer the insights needed to reach consumers on social channels.

Augmenting your first-party data with third-party data can help improve campaign performance. LiveRamp’s Data Marketplace offers third-party data to be used on Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and LinkedIn. Third-party data can be segmented for all your campaign needs. Read more on how activating third-party data on social media platforms helps you achieve the full omnichannel customer journey.

Why Tech Stack Integration is Critical For People-Based Marketing

Identity resolution breaks down data silos to create an omnichannel view of the consumer. As more businesses look to achieve people-based marketing, it’s even more apparent that tech stack integration is needed to deliver true, personalized experiences to customers and prospects. Integrating your marketing tech stack enables a single, identity-based view of your customers, while also providing robust, integrated analytics across every stage of the customer journey.

Check out this interactive piece to see how analytics leads, Mar Tech strategists, heads of e-commerce, and heads of digital marketing are integrating their tech stack through identity resolution.
