LiveRamp’s Private Match Extension is a newly implemented feature that allows brands to successfully match a higher percentage of their CRM records by leveraging their own sites’ logged-in traffic and email opens.
How it works
This feature is simple to implement.
LiveRamp generates a tag for you to embed in your website and emails.
This tag fires whenever a user logs in to your website or opens your emails, allowing LiveRamp to anonymously match the user back to your CRM data.
LiveRamp then adds this match to your existing cookie pool.
Private Match Extension improves reach while maintaining data accuracy and security. Your data and traffic remains private, separated from the rest of LiveRamp’s match network.
A brand sends out a newsletter delivered through an email campaign. When a user opens the outreach email, LiveRamp matches the user back to the CRM data and syncs the data to the brand’s advertising platform. The brand can then display relevant ads using what they already know about the customer. The data remains private while enabling a greater match rate for onboarding.
